Goddess Venus’s (real) pet has been barking and doing things that really upset her. (Peeing on the carpet, etc.) But she LOOooooves her pet!! It is soooo cute! And she could NEVER be mean to it!! So she decides to pull her old slave out of its cage and beat IT instead!! Its so humiliating for the slave to be beaten like this for something it didn't even do...and Goddess Venus makes it VERY clear that IT means nothing to her.
